Two new tracks are up 'Almost Alive' and 'Ka Tja', both will be on the new album and are shaping up nicely. I've also added 'Cardiac Arrest' which is more of an experiment and won't be. Enjoy! Continue reading...
I've been pretty rubbish keeping this site up to date so have decided to sort this out. I have been quite busy working on several new tracks and tweaking some old ones in preparation for an album release later this year. The plan is to release everything for free on a creative commons licence complete with stems, Reason files etc. Anyway, check out the Music and Sets pages for some new music. Continue reading...
I've uploaded an unfinished track I found on my hard drive featuring 2 amazing rappers, David Downey Jr and Joe Jackson. Thanks to Gaz from Twin Lizard for sharing the track and making it happen. Shame it never got finished. Continue reading...
Another long gap between mixsets, sorry. I have been working on what hopefully will become my debut album and thought this would be a good time to share one of the 'work in progress' tracks.
I'm quite excited about this project so am trying not to rush it. Unfortunately though it looks like coming up with a hour of material that I want to share with the world is taking longer than I thought. Still, I hope you enjoy the new mix which is on the mixset page here.
I forgot to post this last year. I was lucky enough to have a remix used on Ben Stead's 'From Atop A Frozen Summit' remix album. The track I chose to mix was 'Taste of Rain', my favourite on the album.
You can listen and download here. I highly recommend buying the original which is a superb slice of atmospheric downtempo.
A long time coming but finally I've finished the latest mix. There are some amazing tracks in here and you'll recognise some of the artists from previous mixes.
This mix has it's dark moments, both Stalker and Watching the Sun Fade Away are pretty intense and invoke nightmarish images. Overall it has a more chilled dubstep (chillstep?) feel to it than normal and much less ambient piano.
As you might have gathered from the interview last month I am working on my debut album. It's provisionally titled 'The Odyssey of Curiosity', inspired from the recent Mars Rover expedition. The plan is to create something along the lines of The KLF - Chill Out or Space - Space with a seamless stream of noises, samples and sounds. No doubt this will breach no ends of copyright so the plan is to make it free and distribute digitally.
